About

on the spot essay contest_edited.jpg

A graduate of Fine Arts major in Painting at the University of Santo Tomas, Nicole Lasquety is a visual artist and writer with a passion for media exploration where big ideas are commonplace. Her broad range of works including surreal, kinetic, wearable, abstract, and digital art.

Here she shares her commentaries on art theory, art exhibits as well as individual artworks, stage plays, documentaries, and even gameshows featuring the lives of artists. Whether you’re a certified art lover or just discovered this site by accident, this blog aims to bring a deeper appreciation and understanding of the art world and culture to the forefront of the audience’s awareness. At the heart of her work, she aims to share the things that have brought her joy and given her hope as she continues to uncover the narratives of our time--one artwork, one poem, one story at a time. As someone once said, “Good art asks questions”.
